Summer Youth Classes
Wee Violin
Meets Saturdays from 10-10:45am.

Bring joy, ease, and music into your young child’s life with our Wee Violin Parent & Child class. Designed for children aged 3–6 and their caregivers, this 45-minute weekly class is designed as a bridge between play and formal music education.

Rhythm Rockers

In this fun and engaging class, children ages 4-6 will explore the exciting world of music through a variety of interactive activities! Each week, we’ll introduce new aspects of music-making, helping kids develop a love for rhythm, melody, and movement.

Elm City Youth Singers
Meets Wednesdays from 4-4:45pm.

This class is designed to foster vocal development, music literacy, and a love for singing for children ages 8-15 years old. Students will learn vocal techniques (breathing, posture, healthy vocal production, and diction), as well as music literacy and performance skills.

Summer Adult Classes
Jam Session
Meets Thursdays from 5-6:15pm.

Meets on Thursdays beginning May 7, through Thursday, August 13.
No class July 2 (ECCMS closed due to the 4th of July holiday).
Unleash your inner musician and join us for our Adult Jam Session! This class is designed for adults of all skill levels who want to explore their musical creativity in a fun and relaxed environment. Collaborate with fellow music enthusiasts, share ideas, and develop your improvisational skills. Have a favorite song you’d like to play? Bring it along! Whether you play guitar, piano, drums, or any other instrument, or if you simply love to sing, you’re welcome here! Bring your instrument, your enthusiasm, and your creativity, and let’s jam!

Taiko Drumming
Meets Tuesdays from 9-9:45am.
No experience necessary!
Class dates:
Meets on Tuesdays July 7 through July 28.
Connect with a centuries-old Japanese tradition! Taiko is more than just playing the drums—it is a thrilling blend of martial arts-like choreography, rhythmic percussion, and powerful teamwork. In this energetic introductory class, you will learn the fundamentals of stance, form, and proper bachi (drumstick) grip.
Cost: $50
Elm City Singers
Meets Tuesdays from 6-7pm.
No experience necessary!
Class dates:
Meets on Tuesdays beginning June 2, through Tuesday, July 28.
Singers of all experience levels are invited to join in singing folk songs, spirituals, rounds, pop songs and more.
Cost: There is no tuition fee for Elm City Singers; all are welcome! We do ask all participants to register so that we can contact you with information regarding class.
